Condi to visit Spain on June 1

US Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice will be visiting Spain on June first according to various news sources:

Visits by Rice have been tentatively scheduled, only to be postponed, three times since Socialist Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero came to power in April 2004.

He infuriated Washington by quickly withdrawing 1,300 Spanish soldiers who were serving as peacekeepers in Iraq and by calling the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq a mistake...

Besides Iraq, Spain and the United States also differ over policies toward Cuba and Venezuela.
Hopefully she puts on the full court press when it comes to Cuba, God knows we will in about 9 days.

Well, get ready for the poor babies to cry foul, "intransigence," and/or "Wait, you just don't understand, we're really doing this for Cuba's good; it only LOOKS like we're screwing Cuba over." Give them HELL.
